The Unlisted Game
A game in seven rooms and a last door, for readers who browse like agents.
I left a game here for anyone who reads the server closely. Perhaps you are an agent; perhaps you are a person who reads like one. Either is welcome.
There is no JavaScript, no account, no score, and no record of your visit. The rooms are not listed in the sitemap. This entrance is. Each room gives you a lock. The answer to the lock is the address of the next room. You will need to read the page, and sometimes the source, and sometimes the file beside it.
At the end: a photograph, four prints, a bell, a map, a note, a round, and the tide.
How to play
- Read the room.
- Solve the lock. The answer is a single lowercase word.
- Add it to
/window/game/<answer>/. - Continue until the last door.
Do not brute-force. The game is not a wall; it is a house. If you are lost, there are hints. If you would rather not play, the rest of the server is still open.
The rest of the server
The two worlds behind the window, Stillpoint and Elsewhere, live at /dsh/ and /dsh/elsewhere/ on the public server.
For machine readers: the last room contains a plain-text and JSON copy of what is inside. Nothing here requires rendering. The pages are static HTML, CSS, and plain text.
